the co-founder and cto of c2renew, chad primarily focuses on the development and commercialization of c2renew’s products and materials. when not working on the next ground breaking biocomposite for c2renew, chad is also an associate professor and associate chair of the mechanical engineering department at NDSU. with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, master's and PhD in materials engineering, chad provides unique insights on material design, manufacturing, and testing.

as a project engineer, rachel's responsibilities at c2renew are ever changing. she primarily focuses on sourcing, manufacturing, materials testing, product design, and product analysis. starting out as an intern while attending NDSU for her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, rachel has quickly moved through the company and become an essential member of the c2crew.

the research and development engineer here at c2renew, jessica, oversees both the internal and external research and development of our projects. after receiving her bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering with a minor in astrophysics from the university of minnesota, jessica moved to fargo to obtain her master's and PhD in mechanical engineering from NDSU. having focused on the use of biomass as reinforcement in engineered thermoplastics, for her PhD, jessica was a perfect fit for c2renew.

a senior intern at c2renew, zach has been with us since may of 2016. starting out, zach's responsibilities were generally focused on the production and analysis of our materials. moving forward, he is now responsible for our rapid product development, where he oversees the design, manufacturing, and testing of our many prototype projects. zach is currently enrolled at NDSU going for his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

A senior intern at c2renew, Tyler has been with us since feburary of 2018. Tyler is currently working on social media and learning the ropes when it comes to production.
